Kilim Design Cushion Kit @pippinkits

This Tapestry Kit is so simple to make (it requires just one simple long stitch) but it is so eye-catching when it’s finished. The stitches are counted (the canvas is not printed) and it is also relatively quick to complete compared to most tapestries that use conventional tent stitch. I have loved designing this Kilim Style cushion and am very excited 😆 to share this beautiful yet simple style of tapestry with you.

All the necessary wool and materials are included in this PippinKits Tapestry Cushion Kit, along with detailed colour instructions. When finished it measures approximately 16”x16” (40cm x 40cm). All you need to find at home to complete the project are some scissors and a 16” cushion pad - then you're good to go!

Contents . . . .all in a pretty organza bag so you can keep your wools safely throughout the project . .

A 50cm square of 14 count Zweigart luxury mono tapestry canvas, a 48cm square of Cotswold velvet fabric (mustard colour), 7 Hanks of Appletons tapestry wool of different colours, a size 20 tapestry needle, 12 pins, a sewing needle and matching cotton thread to finish, detailed instructions with colour photos and colour charts to guide you.

Perhaps it would make a lovely gift for friends or family members who might enjoy some proper thread therapy.
